Sky Zed

Sky ZED image All the principles of a ZED home in a high-rise formation. Sky Zed uses a combination of wind turbines and photovoltaic cells to generate all of its own electricity over a year and can be heated by a modest wood pellet boiler. Sky Zed is constructed from materials sourced locally with low embodied energy - using reclaimed sources whenever possible.

Options are available for a mixture of one and two bed flats with good views and daylight to all rooms as well as a larger family unit design. Most units benefit from private balconies. All windows are triple glazed, set in walls with 300mm of insulation and provide excellent thermal and acoustic protection against winter heat loss and traffic noise.
